Alan trained dogs as a hobby for friends and family for over 12 years. In 2015 he turned his passion into a career as he became a certified dog trainer through Animal Behavior College. Shortly after receiving his certification, he opened the doors of Legacy Dog Training and served the City of McDonough Georgia. His wife, an active-duty soldier, was ordered to report to Kentucky and Legacy dog training opened their doors to Fort Knox where we were proud to offer the same level of excellence to our brothers and sisters in arms and the people of Elizabethtown and Radcliff, Kentucky. After 24 years of service, his wife retired, and they returned to Georgia where they reside permanently.

At Legacy, we are focused on providing dog training with the highest levels of customer satisfaction & we will do everything we can to meet and exceed your expectations. With a variety of programs to choose from, we're sure you'll be happy working with us. Our methods are gentle and effective, based upon Pavlonian methods and the four quadrants of operant conditioning. We believe dogs perform best through a reward-based system first, that makes training fun for both owner and dog.
